The Opportunity 
We are looking for an accomplished Administrator to join our Fund Administration team as part of our financial services business in Grand Cayman. 
The Cayman Islands is home to our global headquarters and where the Maples Group first established operations in the 1960s. Since then we have grown to become one of the largest employers in Cayman, where colleagues from all over the world collaborate to deliver best-in-class solutions to clients worldwide. 
  
  
This role will be responsible for providing administration services to financial services clients, including investment funds, structured finance vehicles and trusts. Administration services include but is not limited to the following: 
  
  • Administering bank accounts and processing bank wire transfers; 
  • Managing an e-mail inbox of payment requests, ensuring emails are acknowledged and responded to once tasks are complete; 
  • Maintaining a payments log and providing status reports for management upon request; 
  • Other client facing and/or internal administrative responsibilities. 
  
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to complete tasks in a timely manner in accordance with protocols, will be proficient in all MSOffice and Microsoft applications and must be able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team. 
  
  
What You Bring 
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following: 
  
  • The successful candidate will ideally be a University graduate, preferably in business administration, finance or accounting with an excellent academic background; 
  • Prior experience in the financial services industry is essential; 
  • Prior experience in accounts payable/receivable functions; 
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail; 
  • Ability to multi-task; 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English); 
  • Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet client and regulatory deadlines; 
  • Liaise externally with clients at various levels and also internally at the Maples Group.
